71 Mamalahoa Hwy Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
808-325-5044
This course is at a higher elevation than typical Hawaiian courses. The fairways are slightly rolling and play host to over 2,000 types of vegetation. Two holes have large trees in the middle of the fairway. The greens, as well as the fairways, remain in excellent condition throughout the year. Water comes into play on nine holes. The signature hole is #17, a 180-yard, par 3, which is an island hole that is somewhat deceptive because of the wind that is often a factor. Usually a 7-iron is suggested, however, if the wind is present, a good guess will ultimately determine success. Hitting a high approach shot is highly recommended to hold the green.
