This slightly hilly course has water hazards coming into play on several holes. This club was originally founded in 1893 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. In addition, “GOLF Magazine” recognized it in their 1995 list of “The First 100 Clubs in America.” “Golf Digest” rated it as the 8th “Best in State” course for 1997-98. A. W. Tillinghast redesigned the original holes in 1928.
