This course is fairly flat and easy to walk. Some holes have a bit of elevation, but nothing too severe. Even though the fairways are wide open and not defined by rough, there are numerous maple, oak, elm, cottonwood, and dogwood trees which come into play. In addition, a creek comes into play on two holes. The course offers a junior, a resident, and a twilight rate throughout the season. Hal Purdy designed the back nine, which was added in 1969.
