5601 Country Club Way Sarasota, FL 34243

This club has two championship courses. The Lakes Course lives up to its name by having water hazards in play on every hole. There are more than sixty well-positioned sand bunkers on this flat layout, and there are more trees that come into play here then on the Championship Course. The Championship Course is a traditional design with water hazards coming into play on at least thirteen holes. The club plans to enlarge the greens on both courses, which presently are slightly sloped and medium speed. Both courses are home to an abundance of local wildlife, including many species of birds and alligators. The signature hole is #18 on the Championship Course. This hole is a 400-yard, par 4, which requires an approach shot over water to an island green that includes a beautiful fountain just to the left of the green.
