This course has two extremely difficult finishing holes, both #17 and #18 measure over 460 yards in length. Hole #7, a 456-yard, par 4, is ranked as the #1 hole in the State of Georgia by “Golf Digest.” In addition, “Golf Digest” rated this course as the 9th “Best Public Course” in the state for 1996, and in the category of the “Top 75 Public Courses” it was ranked 64th for 1990. All the undulating greens are “lightning fast” during the summer months. Water hazards only come into play on four holes.
