This old-style course is very hilly, so you can expect some uneven lies. The course was built on the natural terrain. The greens are fast, and there are water hazards coming into play on four holes. The fairways are tree lined, and the elevated greens are undulating and multi-tiered. “Golf Digest” rated this as the 9th “Best in State” course for 1995-96, and 4th in the same category for 1997-98. “GOLFWEEK” voted the course 52nd among “America’s 100 Best Classical Courses” for 1997, 65th in 1998 and 69th in 1999.
