This course was cut out of an old dairy farm and built on hilly terrain. Most holes play downhill and feature mature trees that can alter your shots. Several creeks and streams come into play on fourteen holes. The fairways are generous, and the greens are slightly undulating. The signature hole is #17, a 557-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot up a double dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot over a ravine to the green. The green is situated on a bank with a lateral water hazard on the left side. “Golf Digest” rated this as the 6th “Best New Private Course” in America for 1995, and they also selected it as the 3rd “Best in State” course for 1997-98.
