This gently rolling course features elevated greens and tee boxes. The fairways are open, and water hazards come into play on four holes. The par 3’s are the trickiest holes on the course. Byron Nelson shot a final-round course-record 65 to win the Durham Open here during his incredible streak in 1945 in which he won eleven consecutive tournaments.
