This course sits on the former site of Bunker Hunt’s famous horse stables. The main cart path goes through the original horse farm that is still standing. This course opened in July of 1996, and since then has received a reputation for being one of the state’s most beautiful and reasonable courses, as mentioned by many of its passing players. There are several small lakes and natural creeks that highlight this course. Hole #14, a 439-yard, par 4, has a small stream to the left side of the fairway, which then turns in front of the green. Accuracy is a must on this hole, especially when teeing off into the wind.
