This hilly course is lined by large oak and pine trees. The back nine was redesigned in 1965. This course has eight bunkers that come into play throughout the course. The signature hole is #8, a 414-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg left fairway that is lined by trees on both sides. The local magazine, “Kentucky PGA,” rated this hole as one of the top 10 hardest holes in the city.
