This is a beautiful and well-maintained course. The undulating greens are large and fast, and the fairways range from narrow to wide open. This flat course is easy to walk. This club was first founded in 1881 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It was also recognized by “GOLF Magazine” in their 1995 list of “The First 100 Clubs in America.” The club hosted the Senior PGA Tour’s Northville Long Island Classic in 1994. “Golf Digest” rated this as the 15th “Best in State” course for 1995-96, and the 16th best for 1997-98.
