This club offers two regulation eighteen hole courses. These courses are more like Midwest courses. The South Course has wide fairways, well-placed water hazards, and plenty of sand bunkers. The fairways are rolling and lined with intermittent trees that can affect your shots. The greens are basically flat, without much undulation, and they putt true. One very attractive hole is #4, a 176-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a green that is protected by water on the right and sand on the left. From the green, you can see most of the Coachella Valley area. On the back nine, there are some waste bunkers, plus an old river bed that can comes into play on a few holes. Ted Robinson redesigned the South Course in 1978. The North Course is shorter and was built against the mountains. This course is very similar to the South Course except there are homes lining the fairways on seven holes. During the summer months, some reciprocal play is allowed if arranged through the non-member’s head professional. The men’s tee for the South course also has a ladies’ course rating of 77.7 and slope of 138; the ladies’ tee for the South course also has a men’s course rating of 67.4 and slope of 114. The men’s tee for the North course also has a ladies’ course rating of 73.5 and slope of 126.
