This course was built on rolling hills, which is quite unusual for this area. The average-width fairways have some trees that can affect your shots. The greens are tiered and well manicured. Water hazards (lakes, ponds, creeks, ditches) come into play on several holes, and grass and waste bunkers have also been incorporated into the design. “Golf Digest” selected this course 4th in the category of “Best New Private Courses” for 1996, and they also rated it as the 6th “Best in State” course for 1997-98. “GOLFWEEK” selected it 74th among “America’s 100 Best Modern Courses” for 1999.
