This very scenic and challenging course is set in the wilderness and uses the natural topography of Michigan as its layout. It is highly recommended that one use a riding cart because of its rolling and hilly terrain, but walking is allowed for those who are up for it. The natural marshlands and several ponds, as well as the numerous sand bunkers, give the course its challenging quality. Hole #3, a 500-yard, par 5, is nicknamed “The Challenger,” because of those who may want to cut 180 yards across a large pond to a peninsula-shaped green that is hidden. The course offers a senior discount before 2 PM during the week only.
