The well-manicured greens are slightly sloped, fast, and small. The terrain is flat, so the course is easy to walk, however you must be accompanied by a caddie if you choose to walk. The fairways are tree lined and bordered by a standard cut of rough. A U.S. Open qualifier tournament was held here in 1992. William S. Flynn designed the back nine, which was added in the 1930’s. Golfers are only allowed to walk the course after 2 PM.
