This club has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The Lake Course is more wide open than the Hill Course. A difficult shot is needed on hole #6, a 145-yard, par 3, requiring a carry over water to a well-bunkered green. The Hill Course is heavily wooded and features narrower fairways and larger greens that aren’t as sloping as the ones on the Lake Course. Hole #3, a 374-yard, par 4, has both trees and water down the left side of the fairway to avoid. Donald Ross designed the back nine and redesigned the existing holes on the Lake Course in 1921, and X. G. Hassenplug then redesigned all eighteen in 1980.
