Designed by Greg Norman, Champions Gate consists of two 18-hole golf courses: The National and The International, and both opened for play in 2000. Both courses are par 72 and measure just over 7000 yards from the tips. The National is a traditional American parkland style course, with long, tree-lined fairways leading up to large, very fast greens. The International is constructed in the traditional links-style of Scotland and Ireland. The entire course is virtually surrounded by sand dunes, and boasts large, very fast greens. Champions Gate is also home to David Leadbetter’s Golf Academy.
