This hilly course offers great views of the Hudson Valley. The Empire State Plaza can also be seen from off one of the elevated tees. All the greens are undulating and elevated, some of the them are multi-tiered and “potato chip” shaped. In addition, water hazards come into play on four holes. The signature hole is #7, a 165-yard, par 3, featuring a breathtaking, panoramic view of the surrounding area. This hole requires your tee shot to carry over both a pond and a stream to a severely undulating green. There is plenty of wildlife like turkeys, deer, and fox that can be seen on the course. This club was originally founded in 1890 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It was also recognized in “GOLF Magazine’s” 1995 list of “The First 100 Clubs in America.”
