This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for Birdie Apps LLC (collectively “Birdie Apps”, “We”, and “Us”).
This privacy policy applies to Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information information
collected by this web site ( as well as the related Birdie Apps mobile apps (together called “Service”,
“Application”, or “Site”).

Information Collection

We collect information from all end-users of the Site, including those who access some components of the Service but do not have accounts (“Visitors”) as well as those who have registered for access to and/or pay for access to the Service (“Subscribers”), in the following three ways:

  1. When you become Subscriber of our Service, and when you use certain Service components, certain information is requested of you.
  2. We collect information when you log in or utilize certain third-party social networking sites (including, but not limited to, Facebook and Twitter) via the Service.
  3. When you browse or use our Service, technological tools including “Cookies” collect certain information, as we more fully explain below.

We utilize collected information in different ways depending upon the type of information. In general, we collect two types of data:

  1. Personally Identifiable Information: This refers to information that lets us know the specifics of who you are. The Personally Identifiable Information we collect when you use our Site or register and download our application may include your name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, company name, login name, passwords, job title and more. This is accessible in the profile area of the site. We request Personally Identifiable Information when you register for the Service, correspond with us, complete a questionnaire and/or request sales information. It is clear when you are on a part of our Site that requires personal information, because we will ask you for it and you will need to complete a form or e-mail.
  2. Non-Personally Identifiable Information: This refers to information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. Non-Personally Identifiable Information also includes your location information, as well as information that is accumulated about your golf game and statistics.

We do not connect the Personally Identifiable Information with the Non-Personally Identifiable Information that We collect.


We use “cookies” on the Site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to the Site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to enter a password more than once, thereby saving time while on the Site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on the Site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any Personally Identifiable information on our site. Some of our business partners may also use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

Ownership and Use of Collected Information

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this Site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We do not sell or rent this information to anyone.

How We Use Your Information

We use the Personally Identifiable Information you provide for internal business operations and to respond to your support requests in a timely fashion. We also use the information to contact you regarding the Service and/or other products and services offered by Birdie Apps. In the event that you contact Us for any reason, we use your information to respond to you.

Non Personally Identifiable Information is used in a variety of ways, including but not limited to, helping us to assess the actions of our users to provide a better user experience; accumulating aggregated statistics about our users’ golf habits, scoring trends, and related data; information about our users’ relationships with golf facilities; etc. This and other Non Personally Identifiable Information may be displayed to other users, in the case of golf scores, handicaps, etc, or provided to individuals and third parties in an aggregated form.

Data Sharing and Use by Third Parties

From time to time we might establish a business relationship with other persons or entities that we deem trustworthy and whose privacy policies are reasonably consistent with ours. In such cases we might share information, including Personally Identifiable Information about you, that will enable such persons or entities to contact you regarding products and services that may be of interest to you.

Although unlikely, in certain instances we may be required to provide Personally Identifiable Information in response to a court order, subpoena, or government investigation. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful. We may release certain Personally Identifiable Information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves.

We use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. This company does not share or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond processing your order(s).


We take commercially reasonable precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. We do not store credit card information on our servers.


This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. You access such linked sites at your own risk and we encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Surveys & Contests

From time-to-time our site requests information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Policy Changes

To improve the Site and Services we offer you, Birdie Apps may opt to expand its capabilities for obtaining information about users in the future. We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update our Privacy Policy agreement without prior notice. Modifications shall become effective immediately upon being posted in our Application or on the Site. Your continued use of the Service and Site after Policy changes are posted constitutes an acknowledgement and acceptance of our Policy and its modifications.
