This club has two eighteen hole regulation courses. The Ambassador Course features narrow, tree-lined fairways and small greens. Although this course is not very long, you’ll need every club in your bag. The fairways average twenty-five yards wide and the rough can get deep in certain areas. Although there is minimal bunkering on this course, you’ll need to avoid the large hickory trees and a river that meanders through the layout and affects play on nine holes. The Presidential Course has a links-style front nine with wide fairways, heavy mounding, and large bunkers. Carved from an old nursery, trees are not in short supply. Two large ponds come into play on holes #5 and #7. The course changes dramatically after hole #11. The greens shrink to half the size and the fairways get tighter and the trees taller. A difficult finishing hole is #16, a reachable 480-yard, par 5, but your tee shot needs to find the fairway through the forest of hickory trees. Carts are mandatory on the Presidential Course during weekends.
