20025 Mt Aetna Rd Hagerstown, MD 21740

This course was built on rolling hills and features well-bunkered, fast greens and open fairways. The rough is high, but the fairways are cut short. There are five ponds that come into play on eight holes, and the wind is frequently a major factor, so selecting the proper club can be a real challenge. The signature hole is #13, a 423-yard, par 4, with trees lining the right side of the fairway and requiring an approach shot over water to an undulating green. Just to the right of the trees on the right side is an out-of-bounds area, which prevents cutting the dogleg fairway. “Golf Digest” rated this course as the 6th “Best Public Course” in the state for 1996. The club offers discounts to local high schools.
