This beautiful, well-maintained course is challenging for all skill levels. The course has a mixture of relatively flat and hilly areas. The fairways vary between narrow and wide, and the greens are medium-sized, fast and undulating. Several ponds and streams come into play on four holes, and dogleg fairways on five others. David and William Gordon designed the back nine, which was added in 1955, and James Harrison and Ferdinand Garbin later redesigned the entire course in 1959. The 6,286-yard men’s tee also has a ladies’ course rating of 75.9 and a slope of 136.
