This club has four different courses. The Little Course is a great beginner’s course with some water coming into play, but no bunkers. The Championship Course is the longest of the four courses. “Golf Digest” rated this course as the 7th “Best Public Course” in the state for 1996. The fairways are tree lined, and the bunkers are large. There are plenty of water hazards and sand bunkers incorporated into the course design. The Wisner Course has narrow fairways that are lined with century old oak and beautiful cypress trees. “Golf Digest” rated this course as the 9th “Best Public Course” in the state for 1996. The greens are small, and water hazards are found throughout the entire course design. The Lakeside Course has some narrow and some wide open fairways. This course is less frustrating than the Wisner or Championship courses. Water hazards and sand bunkers only come into play from time to time. The PGA New Orleans Open was held here. The Little Course has a separate golf shop with a phone number of (504) 483-9390.
