5200 Colbert Hills Dr Manhattan, KS 66503
785-776-6475
Designed in the Scottish links style by Jeff Brauer and PGA professional James Colbert, Colbert Hills 7525 yards will present a challenge to golfers of all handicaps, and is available for public, as well as collegiate play. Special consideration should be given to the wind on this course, which if used properly, can maximize success. The course signature hole is #7, a 615 yard par 5 that begins with a 90 foot drop from the tee to the fairway. The initial landing area is bracketed by 3 bunkers, making controlled shots essential. The second landing area is also well bunkered, combining with the bunkers at the green to require an entrance from the right side of the second landing area. Colbert Hills Golf Course has been designated as a “living laboratory” by Kansas State University and is used by the university as an environmental research and turf management facility.
