This Scottish links-style course doesn’t have many trees, but the wind can be a major factor. There is a lake that comes into play on two holes and streams cross the fairways on a couple others. A challenging hole is #5, a 491-yard, par 5, with a lake bordering the front, right and back sides of the green. To risk reaching the green in two may be worth the reward because the drop area is behind the green. “Golf Digest” rated this course as the 7th “Best Public Course” in the state for 1996.
