This club has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The terrain on the fairways is crowned, and the small greens are undulating. A difficult hole is #3, a 517-yard, par 5, featuring a sharp dogleg right fairway with water sitting at the turn. Players can attempt to hit the green in two, but if they come up short they’ll hear a splash. The Harbour Point Golf Links Course offers small greens and tight fairways. The course was designed to play alongside Broad Creek, and water hazards (six ponds) come into play on seven holes. The fairways are tree lined and very flat because there are no changes in elevation. The wind is sometimes a factor in the late afternoons. Every green is protected by strategically-placed sand bunkers. The most difficult hole is probably #11, a 493-yard, par 5, featuring a narrow landing area with water on the left. On the approach players must avoid two other small ponds to hit the small green. The phone number for the Harbour Point Course is (252) 638-5338.
