This links-style course has no trees. The fairways have some mounding, and lakes come into play on several holes. Hole #15, a 678-yard, par 5, was the second longest hole in the U.S. when it was originally built. The greens are challenging with plenty of undulation. The course was rated in the top five public courses in Illinois by the “Chicago Golf Guide.” The course offers discounts for seniors and juniors after 3 PM, Monday through Thursday. Weekend green fees are in effect Friday through Sunday.
