This walkable course was primarily built on flat terrain, but there is some mounding that can cause uneven lies. The LPGA Tour’s Sara Lee Classic was held at this course in 1994. This course is said to be in perfect condition all year and playable by all skill levels. “Golf Digest” rated this course as the 10th “Best Public Course” in the state for 1996. There are several ponds and a lake that come into play on sixteen holes. Hole #5, a 216-yard, par 3, features an island tee. This facility plans to open an additional eighteen holes in May, 2000.
