This is an old and established course with tree-lined fairways and elevated greens. The fairways have been wide open since Hurricane Frederick came through in 1979, but the saplings are maturing with each passing year. There is water that comes into play on six holes. The most challenging hole is #6, a 448-yard, par 4, with a dogleg left fairway and requiring an approach shot to a severely sloped green. A redesign was completed by Tom Clark in 1989.
