1800 SE Hill Club Terrace Tequesta, FL 33469
561-746-5228
This club features two outstanding eighteen hole courses. These courses have narrow, tree-lined fairways that are bordered by a defined cut of rough. The Hills Course is longer and has many more water hazards than the Village Course. “Golf Digest” rated the Hills Course as the 4th “Best in State” course for the years 1995-98. The same publication also selected it 64th in the category of “America’s 100 Greatest Courses” for 1995-96, and 74th in 1997-98. “GOLF Magazine” chose the Hills Course 68th on its list of the “Top 100 Courses in the U.S.” for 1995, 88th in 1997 and 84th in 1999. “GOLFWEEK” voted it 25th among “America’s 100 Best Modern Courses” for 1997, 21st for 1998 and 26th for 1999. The club hosted the 1987 U.S. Amateur Open. The greens are well bunkered and sloped. The signature hole for the Hills Course is #9, a 194-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a ravine to an island green surrounded by the jungle.
