The “Gulf Coast Golfer” ranked this course as being one of the hardest courses in the Corpus Christi area. This is a seaside links course that is located alongside Corpus Christi Bay, so the wind can be troublesome. The greens are large and fast, and there are several natural water hazards coming into play on some holes. A difficult finish awaits on hole #18, a 555-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot over water and onto a narrow fairway protected by a large bunker on the left. The green is tucked back into another water hazard, so lay-up in front if you want to play it safe. Only members are allowed to walk the course.
