This course features elevated tees and lush fairways lined by thick stands of live oak and pine. Numerous dogleg fairways, accented by strategically located mounds and fairway bunkers, call for well-planned tee shots. The greens vary in size and their well-defined tiers place a premium on precise approach shots. The signature hole is #6, a 192-yard, par 3, which has been pictured on the cover of many golf magazines. The green on this hole is set against the backdrop of Port Royal Sound and is one of the most visually spectacular holes on the island. As its trademark, oyster shells and oyster shell walls have been used in the design of this course.
