This course, which combines British style golf with Louisiana flair, is considered one of the South’s premier golf facilities. The course, covering 250 acres of what was once a sugar cane farm, was designed by Ferris Land Design, Inc. Thirty acres of lakes are found on the course. The finishing hole, #18, offers a lasting impression on all who have played the course. Two large trees in the middle of the fairway force the golfer to chose a route to the long and narrow green. The hole is a par 4 and spans 466 yards from the back set of tees.
