This wooded course features wide rolling fairways and man-made lakes coming into play on seven holes. The signature hole is #18, a 440-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg right fairway and requiring an approach shot over water to a small green. “Golf Digest” rated this as the 3rd “Best Public Course” in the state for 1996, and “GOLF Magazine” rated this course 65th best under the 1996 category of “Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S.” It was rated as the 15th “Best in State” course by “Golf Digest” for 1995-96, and the 16th best for 1997-98. In the category of “Top 75 Public Courses” it was ranked 17th for 1990, and received a 27th ranking among the “Top 75 Upscale Courses” for 1996. The other tee shown is a men’s tournament tee.
