This course places a premium on accuracy, not distance. The fairways are tight and tree lined. There are water hazards and a creek flowing throughout the course that come into play at least seven times. The club was established in 1893 and was recognized by “GOLF Magazine” in their 1995 list of “The First 100 Clubs in America.” William Langford (1951), Larry Packard (1977) and Dick Nugent (1985) have performed renovations on this course.
