This course was built in 1926 by Donald Ross and hasn’t been altered since. All the fairways are narrow, and some holes feature dogleg fairways. Water hazards (a creek and ponds) come into play on six holes. The small greens are undulating and well bunkered. The signature hole is #17, a 340-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a thickly tree-lined fairway and past two large fairway bunkers, then an approach shot to a well-bunkered green. The view from this green overlooks the entire valley. You may only walk this course after 3 PM.
