Every hole on this course is inspired by a different hole from a British Open course, as well as the addition of pot bunkers, which were fashioned after those of British design. The undulation of the greens are also equal to the British Open scale, and there is a strong links ambiance. There is also a 12,200-foot clubhouse, which is a replica of a Scottish castle, and an English-style pub on the premises. “GOLF Magazine” rated this course as “One of the Top Ten New Courses” in 1999.
