This tree-lined course was built on hilly terrain, so you can expect some uneven lies. The scenery is beautiful, especially the four holes that were designed to play alongside the Long Island Sound. In addition, numerous well-placed sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course’s design. The course’s signature hole is #18, a 471-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot over water. Rees Jones redesigned the course in 1982, followed by Stephen Kay, who remodeled seven holes in 1989.
