This long course usually has wind coming into play on every shot. The signature hole is #14, a short par 4, requiring an approach shot over the marsh that guards the front of the green. Hole #9, a 620-yard, par 5, is very long and it’s nearly impossible to reach the green in two. “Golf Digest” rated this as the 13th “Best in State” course for 1995-96, and the 12th best for 1997-98. “GOLFWEEK” selected it 50th among “America’s 100 Best Modern Courses” for 1997, 25th for 1998 and 37th for 1999. Guests must be accompanied by a club member in order to play this course.
