This course’s fairways are tree lined, and on several occasions there are trees planted in the middle of the fairways. Water hazards come into play on many holes, and in addition, many sand and grass bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. The signature holes are #16 and #17. Hole #16 hole is a 182-yard, par 3, and #17 is a 394-yard, par 4. The locals refer to these holes as their course’s “Amen Corner.” Many of this course’s fairways are dogleg configurations.
