13001 Gary Player Dr Sunset Hills, MO 63127

This facility recently expanded to twenty-seven holes, giving it three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The Woodland/Prairie Course consists of the original eighteen holes. The front nine on the course is undulating and has a lot of wooded areas, while the back nine is a links-style design. The new Meramec Course differs slightly from the original holes in that it has a hint of a links-style layout and the greens are more undulating. The golf facility was built next to an Indian burial ground, and the Indian name means “Place of Joy.” Turkeys, deer and Canadian geese are some of the wildlife seen in the area. “Golf Digest” rated this course as the 4th “Best Public Course” in the state for 1996, and they also rated it as the 10th “Best in State” course for 1997-98.
