This very scenic course was built on gently rolling terrain. The fairways are tree lined, but not too thick. There are many ponds and brooks that come into play on a number of holes. The signature hole is #1, a 581-yard, par 5, which features a green sitting on a knoll that is surrounded by trees. “Golf Digest” rated this course as the 10th “Best Public Course” in the state for 1996. People have been known to travel long distances to play here because of the friendly and hospitable atmosphere.
