This links-style course features well-bunkered greens with water hazards coming into play on six of the greens, which, along with the fairways, are mildly undulating. The fairways are considerably open by today’s standards. The signature hole is #8, a 538-yard, par 5, which has an elevated tee and dogleg fairway that sweeps to the left. The tee shot must carry a creek that crosses the fairway about thirty yards out. The second shot involves a constricting fairway before the green and a lake. The landing area is small on this hole. Accuracy is a must. Waltz Golf Farm is located adjacent to this facility and features two miniature golf courses and a nine hole par 3 course.
