Rural Route1 East of Streator Cornell, IL 61319
815-222-3333
This quaint nine hole course is unique with its hilly terrain and picturesque bridges. A suspension bridge, resembling the Golden Gate Bridge, is found on hole #1. Hole #9 has a wooden suspension bridge and a stone and log bridge also resides on #9. Water comes into play on seven holes. There is a lake and two creeks that wander through the course. The greens are medium-sized and offer a variety of putting challenges from fairly flat to mounded or hilly. The fairways are open, however, there is an abundance of water providing out-of-bounds areas. The signature hole is #1, a 408-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg fairway that slopes to the right. A creek crosses in front of the tee area, which runs parallel to the fairway, and then crosses in front of the green.
