This very tight and hilly course has small greens that are undulating and well bunkered. There are sand bunkers on some of the fairways. There are three ponds that come into play on four holes. The signature hole is #7, called the “Caped Hole.” This par 3 requires a tee shot over water to a peninsula green. This club was originally founded in 1894 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It was also recognized by “GOLF Magazine” in 1995 as one of the “First 100 Clubs in America.”
