This course, which is part of The Great Gorge Golf Reserve, is a true links-style design that is void of any trees, but harbors deep, native grasses. This course has been rated the #1 public course in the state and is currently in contention for the #3 course in the nation, according to an employee. The fairways are cross-cut, and the greens are very large and undulating. It’s not uncommon to have a putt break six or seven feet. The greens are also very fast, but if you find the line you will be rewarded. There is no specific signature hole for this course, however, the entire course was built similar to an Irish links design. During the evening, this course has a bagpipe player who performs in the clubhouse and restaurant areas. Weather depending, this course will stay open year round.
